18th April marks a significant milestone for RECCA SEWA as we complete 22 years of committed service.

This journey has never been about numbers alone, but about quietly reaching out and making a difference where it truly matters. Each year, on our Foundation Day, we strive to extend support in a meaningful way, and this year was no exception.

As part of our SEWA Raising Day initiative, we had the privilege of supporting Bethlehem Abhayabhavan, Ernakulam : a home dedicated to caring for the abandoned, the mentally challenged, and the elderly who have been left without support.

Founded by Mrs. Mary Esthappan, Abhayabhavan has been providing shelter, care, rehabilitation, and dignity to hundreds of residents. It is not merely an institution, but a sanctuary where individuals are nurtured with compassion and given a sense of belonging.

With the budget allocated for this year’s Foundation Day, RECCA SEWA procured and delivered medicines required for the residents, contributing in a small yet meaningful way to their ongoing care and wellbeing.

 A Year of Milestones

The past year has been particularly fulfilling for RECCA SEWA.

We successfully completed and handed over Santhwanam 5, our 5th major infrastructure development project : a Social Study Centre for tribal families in Pathanamthitta, benefiting over 100 families  a  CSR  Initiative by Sewa , handed over on 20^th Feb 2026

In addition, we received the renewal of our 80G certification from the Income Tax Department, now valid up to 2036–37, reinforcing our commitment to transparency and enabling continued support from donors.( Certificates shown on the  home page )

Together, these milestones reflect not just progress, but the strength of collective effort and sustained commitment.
