The District Collector expressed his appreciation for RECCA SEWA’s initiative. He highlighted how this Social Study Centre would meaningfully complement the Tribal Welfare initiatives undertaken by the Government of Kerala.
He observed that many children from tribal communities are often reluctant to attend school, as their absence reduces the family’s daily earning potential. In several cases, after completing Class XII, parents hesitate to send their children outside the village for higher studies due to economic constraints and social concerns.
He emphasized that a structured facility within the community can serve as a bridge encouraging continued education, building confidence, and gradually shifting mindsets towards long-term academic and personal development.
