A  request came to Recca Sewa  for    financial assistance for a boy Sidarth, studying in twelfth standard   commerce stream in St. George HSS Muttar. The boy’s mother was terminally ill with cancer. The family had no resources for treatment and education of the boy .  One of the SEWA members  visited the house and school and found the case to be genuine  . Meanwhile our member Mathew Philip,    immediately transferred 15 k to SEWA Account. We talked to the father and offered to pay hospital bills directly.  The lady expired in General hospital  EKM . As we had collected the fund, and committed to assist the boy the money was routed through the school. The school has a system in place to help needy students .  who are  allowed   to continue studying without fees. The money will now be utilized for the welfare of Sidarth as  decided by the parent and schoo
